Budo Kyokushin would like to welcome our new affiliates to our organization the Altona/Brooklyn Dojo. A full report to follow about the club and the instructors to follow.

Congratulations go to Pat, Dane and Alex for their recent success at the NSW Full Contact championships. Shihan Bill received and invite from Shihan John Taylor of the AKKA to send some fighters to the tournament. After a not so successful result at the 2008 Victorian championships, all three fighters jumped at the opportunity to fight again in NSW.

This time the boys fought in their correct weight categories. At the Vic Tiltes all the boys competing fought fighters 10-20 kilograms heavier as their was an amalgamation of divisions due to the number of fighters in the heavyweight division. Pat won the Middleweight Division and both Dane and Alex fought each other in the final of the heavyweight division with Alex eventually taking out the top spot. Congratulations again! A big OSU from all at BKKA and The Martial Arts and Fitness Company.
